A trio of women insists on keeping up a circus that has already gone down. The only surviving members of the exuberant and huge troupe of the circus’ days of glory are now: Carmen Lúcia, ex diva, Graice Kelly, her number one fan, and Conceição, a “jack-of-all-trades”. With their relationship as much in pieces as their clothes, performing to an audience as thin as the soup they take, the three women wander from town to town, setting up the Gran Circo-Teatro Bruschetta’s ragged tent, under which any show may be the last.
